Are All of Your Windows at Home Locked?

If you’re not absolutely sure, then you will want to hear more about how Honeywell is working with Andersen Corporation to develop new VeriLock™ sensor technology. The announcement about VeriLock was made earlier this week in a news release.

While security systems have long been able to detect if a window or door is open or closed, VeriLock sensors are the first that can detect whether they are actually locked or unlocked. It embeds Honeywell’s 5800 series wireless sensor technology inside the locking mechanisms of windows and patio doors. I have been demonstrating the new sensor at the ISC Solutions show in New York. Check out the video from the show floor for a closer look.
