How many times have you heard “if you build it, they will come?” I suppose that might be reality depending on what is being built and a customer’s willingness to pay. But what if most innovations created and challenges solved were because there was an actual customer need?
Honeywell and customer ideas go together, and it starts with people like our Honeywell Integrated Security (HIS) End Users Committee. For years now, the HIS End Users Committee, a peer-to-peer group designed to provide an exchange of technical information and best practices among end user customers of Honeywell’s Pro-Watch® platform, meet regularly to share their opinions on what matters most.
The Committee, which consists of hundreds of Pro-Watch end users, provides direct feedback to us on product offerings, usability, services and other solutions needed to help ensure that current and future innovations are meeting their needs. We share a true partnership with each of our customers because at the end of the day, their opinions matter—the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
In a recent interview at ASIS 2012, we sat down with the Committee’s Chairman, Rudy Wolter, Director of CSIS North America Security and Investigations for Citigroup and the Vice Chairman, Bhavesh Patel, Sr. Dir. Security Services & Technology for Sanofi to ask them questions about why they think the HIS End Users Committee—coined a committee “for the end user, by the end user”—has been so successful for them and their peers.
Watch the video below and listen to what they had to say. And if you’re a Pro-Watch customer or HIS authorized security integrator who has customers interested in joining the Committee, contact your Honeywell representative, an end user committee member or simply call us at 1-800-323-4576 or visit www.honeywellcommunity.com.
