The iGSMCFP4G commercial fire communications radio for VISTA meets NFPA72 2013 and 2010 editions.

This commercial fire radio meets NFPA72 2013 and 2010 editions. It is fully compliant with NFPA72 2013 edition for sixty minute supervision and can function as the sole path of alarm signal transport. The secure, reliable UL 864 listed radio sends Contact ID messages from a Honeywell VISTA fire alarm control panel. The ability to download to the VISTA panel makes the installation more seamless and maximizes serviceability.

The Communications Path
The single path communications solution allows one technology to be used (either IP or cellular) to provide the appropriate connectivity to a central station. For added reliability, our dual path solution allows both technologies (IP and cellular) to be used together. And, it’s designed to operate over the most common cellular networks including 2G, 3G and 4G. The multi-GSM platform technology automatically chooses the best available cellular signal in the area based on signal strength and self-adjusts to maintain critical life safety communication. The single and dual path communication eliminates the need for costly plain old telephone lines (POTS) and this helps your customers save money by eliminating the need for two land-lines.

The iGSMCFP4G may help customers satisfy the needs of the most demanding AHJs. Let us know what you think with a comment below.

They have decided to do away with zone inputs.
They had zone inputs on the previous CF model,
so this will not be a good replacement for the IGSMCF

I sure hope this new Fire radio is “FM” listed, as if it is, you will then have something that many of us distributors have been waiting a long time for.

If its not FM listed, this will force us to buy product from the competition.

The IP GSM4G is very labor intensive. It may save my customers money on POTS lines, but the time to put one together is ridiculous. The new one comes FACTORY ASSEMBLED, right? That would be ideal. Thank you. -John Perskari

Exactly, no zone mode on the new iGSMCFP4G, what a disappointment. Need to use a competitor product.
