Configure AlarmNet Devices Faster with Honeywell’s New 24/7 Automated System

You can use our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to program and activate new AlarmNet communicators 24/7.

Honeywell Security Technical Support is now providing an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for you to use to program and activate new AlarmNet communicators. The automated, voice-prompt service enables faster, more effective programming and activation of AlarmNet communicators, saving you valuable time and letting you move on to the next installation sooner.

Available 24/7, the IVR lets you activate a SIM, check SIM activation status and program a device for registration to an AlarmNet account.

Here’s How it Works

  • Call the IVR service at 1-800-222-6525 from your mobile phone
  • Select option 1 for technical support, then option 1 for activation and registration
  • Follow the prompts to set up the device, providing account information when directed by the voice commands. Today, the IVR is currently available in English language.
  • If you experience a problem during activation, you will be transferred to a live agent during normal business hours or be provided with other options to resolve the issue

With the new system, the average usage time is only four minutes since there is no more waiting for a live operator to complete the programming process. You will spend less time on the phone and decrease your installation time. Of course, live help is available when you need it during regular business hours. And, you can still opt to configure your devices via the 7720P Programmer and the AlarmNet Direct website.
