With the recent acquisition of RSI Video Technologies, Honeywell can now offer you even more solutions to help grow your business.  Videofied is a battery-powered wireless video alarm system that is professionally monitored and works inside and outdoors.  There will be more information about Videofied at the Honeywell Booth #14025 at ISC West.  This same technology that powers Videofied makes an ideal DIY platform.

DragonFly is a business-in-a-box solution that opens new markets for the traditional security dealer.

A New Market Opportunity
DragonFly is a business-in-a-box solution that opens incremental markets to the traditional Honeywell dealer selling professionally installed alarm systems. DragonFly targets the Millennials that aren’t interested or won’t pay for a professionally installed alarm system. With DragonFly, Honeywell dealers can bring Millennials into their customer base now and upsell them to a professionally installed alarm once they have families and become more affluent.

What’s the Process?
How does it work? It’s simple.  The dealer drives traffic to their DragonFly website (through emails, social media, etc.) provided by their dealer program and they create RMR.  Consumers learn about DragonFly and order their “kits” through the eCommerce engine on the website.  DragonFly fulfills the order and ships it directly to the consumer. The dealer never has to touch the hardware.  The consumer downloads the app and uses their smartphone to install the system – and pays for either Basic or Premium monitoring.  The account information is then automatically on-boarded to the Central Station and the dealer is paid their RMR.  DragonFly dealer programs are being offered by wholesale central stations and both Security Dealer Network and CMS will be signing dealers at ISC West. Visit our reception desk in Booth #14025 for more information.

The Parts of DragonFly
Dragonfly hardware is very simple and has three basic parts; a hub, an Indoor Camera and an Outdoor Camera.  There is NO keypad (the smartphone acts as the controller), NO siren, NO door/window contacts, and NO smoke.  All those devices are part of a traditional alarm system which isn’t DragonFly.  To learn more about DragonFly, take a few minutes to watch the consumer video above.

If you will be attending ISC West, please visit us in Booth #14025 so we can explore this opportunity with you.
